Diego Food Pantry

active

Providing food to our school and community members consistently and hollisticly.

Times are getting tougher for many families in our neighborhood. With recent cuts and restrictions to programs like SNAP and other federal food supports, many folks are struggling to put meals on the table and with the cold weather coming many seasonal jobs will be difficult to maintain.

We’re launching a community food pantry right here at José de Diego Community Academy to make sure no child in our school has to learn while hungry, and no family has to go without basic groceries.

This pantry will be built by the community, for the community run by school staff, parents, and volunteers who see the need up close every day.

Every dollar goes directly toward getting food into our families’ hands. If you can give, please do. If you can share, please spread the word. Together, we can make sure every De Diego student and family has one less thing to worry about.

Let’s make sure no one in our school community goes hungry. Donate today.
